Top Highlanders striker Njabulo Ncube has become the second star player to leave the Bulawayo giants inside a week after winger Masimba Mambare with reports he had joined FC Platinum.

Ncube’s contract with Bosso expired on December 31 he confirmed on Thursday that he had already signed a one year deal with the platinum miners.
“The truth of the matter is that I have signed for one year with FC Platinum,” he said.
“It is sad that I leave Highlanders, a team that I have at heart but I had to make some decisions that are important for me and my family as well.
“It is with a heavy heart that I leave Bosso.
“They will always be my team. I will be joining the rest of the FC Platinum players who in camp in Kariba on Saturday.”
He joins players such as Gilbert Banda, brothers Zephaniah and Joel “Josta” Ngodzo and Welcome Ndiweni who were lured by FC Platinum from Bosso.

FC Platinum’s spokesperson Chido Chizondo was still coy about the move claiming no deal had been sealed.
“We have not signed him yet. He is on our wish list and we are speaking to him,” she claimed.
Mambare joined Dynamos at the beginning of the week sparking anger from Bosso supporters after he pledged his loyalty to the team late last year.
