THE FIRST leg preliminary round of the Caf Confederation Cup tie between How Mine and Zanzibar’s Chuoni FC at Barbourfields Stadium on Saturday will be handled by Angolan referee Do Rosario Baltazar.

According to a Caf qualifying rounds schedule of the Confederation Cup and the Champions League, Baltazar will handle the match on Saturday before the second leg match which will be handled by Olad Arab of Somalia in Zanzibar, off the coast of Tanzania, on the weekend of February 14-16.
By yesterday afternoon, Zifa communications officer Xolisani Gwesela said he was yet to receive the itineraries of the Zanzibaris and Mochudi Centre Chiefs who take on Dynamos in Harare in the first leg first round of the Champions League at the weekend.
“I have not yet received the itineraries of the Caf teams that are coming,” Gwesela said.
DeMbare’s match against the Botswana champions will be handled by Antonio Anibal Armando of Mozambique, with the return leg handled by Namibian Helmut Andreas.
