Sibanda, formerly of Motor Action and FC Platinum, is a former Bosso junior and will link up with Joel Ngodzo and Welcome Ndiweni who also retraced their steps to Bulawayo.

Bosso are reported to be eyeing Chicken Inn defender Felix Chindungwe. Southern Eye Sport spoke to the two players to find out if they had decided their next moves.

“I am already back at Highlanders. I have not yet signed, but we should be finalising the deal on Friday (tomorrow). I will be in Bulawayo tomorrow (today),” said Sibanda.

Chindungwe, who reportedly agreed terms with the Gamecox before his departure to South Africa said: “Highlanders, Dynamos and Triangle are after my services. Chicken Inn are still interested in me. So for now I am just weighing my options. What I want is a team that will make a good offer.”

The Highlanders executive though says they are waiting for the players that were in South Africa for the African Nations Championships (Chan) finals before they can discuss terms.

Bosso are also hoping to renew the contracts of Milton Ncube, Munyaradzi Diya and Peter “Rio” Moyo following the expiry of their contracts with the Bulawayo giants on December 31.

Speculation has been rife that a number of South African clubs are after getting the services of Moyo who was one of the outstanding players for the Warriors in the Chan tournament, but he cannot move as the mid-season transfer window in that country has closed.

Club chairman Peter Dube said they had not spoken to the players as they were still in Harare.

“We have not spoken to them since they came from South Africa. I believe they are still in Harare, maybe they are coming today (yesterday) or they have arrived already, but they will need family time so we will start talking to them maybe on Friday (tomorrow). I don’t have much to say, but we are waiting for them,” he said.
