The Asset Management Summit 2014 will run from April 16 to 17 and will be facilitated by Nkosilathi Columbus Tshuma, an engineering manager of a leading global diamond miner and Mpumelelo Ndiweni a managing director of a regional projects company.

Ndagala Mpofu, the ESD business development manager said they were targeting organisations wanting to improve asset management and maintenance management.

“An asset management strategy lets organisations build the right life cycle asset management system in their operation so that they make products better, faster, safer, with high quality and for less cost,” he said.

“Delegates will understand how adopting a PAS55 (ISO55000)-based approach to asset management delivers structure, excellence, sustainable performance efficiencies and long-term growth.

“As part of the summit, there will be a demonstration of a asset management software by Pragma, a leading asset management software company.”
