Kaindu left for the United Kingdom last week for the ongoing Uefa B Licence coaching course and on arrival in England, the Zambian gaffer contacted his bosses and a mutual agreement was made that he leave the club.

Sources close to the coach yesterday said Kaindu who signed another two-year contract with Highlanders at the beginning of the year, had packed his bags.

“He has decided that for the good of the club, he concentrates on his studies and he will not be returning to Zimbabwe anytime soon and Highlanders have agreed,” the source said.

Highlanders chairman Peter Dube could not be reached for comment yesterday with a highly-placed source at the club confirming that correspondence from the coach had been received and the club and the coach had mutually agreed.
