The album, which includes the chart topper Hard to Breath that is receiving generous airplay on ZiFM Stereo, was launched last Saturday at Horizon Restuarant and Bar.

Speaking to Southern Eye Lifestyle, the 28-year-old Luveve-born artiste said the album launch went extremely well, adding that a lot of people have fallen in love with his music.

“The album launch went well and people like my music. I first dropped my album online where l was targeting a least 2 000 downloads and l was so happy l managed to aim higher. That gave me hope that my album Perfect Balance would be a hit” he said.

Other tracks in the album include Different Day, Ugly and Beautiful, Perfectly Balanced and Life After Me.

The album features artistes like Kiss Money from KLAP, Gimel, GTi, Crystalline, Guluva 7 and Abnorm from Harare.

Cal Vin said he took time to release his album.

“This year I have decided to invest time in my music career and I believe I would bring an award to Bulawayo and in the next coming years.

“I do my music at home and l have my studio (Volte Face Records) there. I started producing music in 2004 and released first recording in 2003, but Perfect Balance album has managed to penetrate the market well compared to other albums I produced before,” he said.

Cal Vin said he looks forward to staging live shows with the hope of gaining mileage in the music industry. He performed some of his tracks at Miss and Mr Professional held in Bulawayo last weekend.
