ZIMBABWE international striker Knowledge Musona looks set to return to the German Bundesliga after the expiry of his loan spell at Kaizer Chiefs, following reports that the South African giants have already started preparing for life without the lethal striker. knowledge-musona DANIEL NHAKANISO SPORTS REPORTER

Musona, contracted to the TSG Hoffeinheim until 2016 has enjoyed a fruitful season loan spell at the South African giants scoring eight goals in the league and four in the Caf Champions League.

Although earlier reports had suggested that Chiefs were hoping to extend the 23-year-old Warriors striker’s loan stay, recent indications suggest that Musona could be returning to Germany in July.

Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter was yesterday quoted in the South African media saying AmaKhosi had started monitoring the market in case they failed to keep Musona for at least another season.

“We’ve got two or three names in the event of Knowledge not remaining with us,” Baxter told Goal.com.

“But we are hopeful that we can find a solution on that. I’ve got one foreign name and I’ve got a couple of African names.”

Further quizzed to reveal his targets, Baxter could only confirm that there’s at least one local player they are looking to sign, but he wasn’t ready to mention any names.
