The MDC-T infighting intensified today with a faction led by secretary general Tendai Biti resolving to suspended party president Morgan Tsvangirai and his deputy Thokozani Khupe.
Biti convened the National Council meeting in Harare at Mandel Training Centre where the resolutions were made.
Lobengula MP Samuel Sipepa Nkomo chaired the meeting.
Others who were suspended are national chairman Lovemore Moyo, organising secretary Nelson Chamisa and party spokesperson Douglas Mwonzora.
