The 64-page book titled Arise and Shine, Take Action was launched at a colourful ceremony with the author describing it as a life changing and mind-transforming book.

In an interview with Southern Eye lifestyle Mushore said the book had been written to revive the passion in the Body of Christ to arise and utilise their gifting in the various ministries.

“The opening words are a scripture in Isaiah 60: Arise, shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.’ This propels men and women, young and old to move from their comfort zones to their destiny,” he said.

“I was inspired to write this book by young people whom I come across daily who have given up on life and seem to have no hope.

“For the past three years I had failed as an academic, but I had to go back to school and eventually I passed. I want all the young people to understand that for one to excel perseverance is vital.

The launch was graced by church members, family and the Mpopoma community members who were invited prior to the event.

The author–cum-computer technician said he derived his inspiration from renowned American author Myles Munroe who has written over 100 books and is a contributing writer for various Bible editions.

Mushore is also motivated by Bulawayo-based author apostle Collin Nyathi the author of Desperate for God’s Presence.

“I am grateful to my parents, my pastors, church members and community members who came to support me. I wouldn’t have achieved this without them,” he said.

Pastor Bhekimpilo Ngulube hailed Mushore for penning the book which he said was a good text which would encourage young people to take responsibility for their lives.

“I edited the book myself and can say it was well written. Young people are doing little with their talents,” Ngulube said.

“This generation’s youths have a tendency of waiting to be spoon fed. This young man came up with an idea and took action. We could not ignore that hence the support we gave him.”
