Kariba have not lost a match in the top-flight since the start of the season, although they have had six draws.

“I have been to Bulawayo several times and Luveve Stadium has a good pitch. I am very aware of the conditions of the pitch and I have a rough idea of what Bantu Rovers are going to throw at us. We are working through that. I have fond memories of Luveve Stadium and I have never lost at Luveve and it gives me a little excitement,” he said.

Chaminuka has been with Masvingo United, Buffaloes and was assistant coach to Taurai Mangwiro at Caps United last season.

“Bantu is a good team and we had the opportunity of watching them play against Caps United recently. We will approach the match cautiously and do what we can do. We can get maximum points if they let us, but they will probably be fighting to get those as well. If all goes well we will be taking three points home,” he said.

ZPC Kariba boasts a wealth of experience in their team with David Rediyoni, Limited Chikafa, Tawanda Nyamandwe and support from the slick Raphael Manuvire, Trevor Chikede and Tawanda Munyanduri.

Bantu Rovers coach Methembe Ndlovu said it would be a difficult match as they have never seen ZPC Kariba in action.

“We know it is going to be a tough challenge, but we are focusing on our own strengths. This is one of few teams that we will play against that we have never seen play before. We will focus on the things we do well. We know that they are undefeated and they will come here with a lot of confidence, but we have also been playing well even though we have lost some of our matches,” he said.

Bantu Rovers have been dogged by injuries in the past couple of weeks with Teenage Hadebe, Lenience Mpofu, Emmanuel Dube, Thandazani Ndlovu and Bongani Sikwili out for a couple of weeks.

Tafadzwa Kutinyu who was also injured, will be available for selection together with Sizalobuhle Dube, Fortune Ncube and Obadiah Tarumbwa.
