The coal miners have brought back Thonisani Sibelo who had joined Chicken Inn to replace the influential Erick Chipeta, now at Chippa United in the Absa PSL in South Africa.

Head coach Nation Dube, who heads to Harare without injured Evans Rusike and Maqhawe Mpofu, yesterday said no team would finish the season without defeat, but said he was taking each game as it came.

Hwange beat struggling Harare City 2-0 at the Colliery on Sunday and sit on position five with 26 points while ZPC Kariba, who beat Chicken Inn 1-0 in Bulawayo last Saturday, are a point behind pacesetters Highlanders with 30 points.

“We are just taking each game as it comes. ZPC Kariba will one day lose. There is no team which will end the season without a loss. But all we want is a positive result,” Dube said.

ZPC Kariba have brought in Elvis Meleka from Botswana, Keith Mavhunga from Northern Region Division One side Lake Harvest and Terrence Gonzo from Caps United.

Coach Saul Chaminuka said Hwange would be one of their toughest opponents of the season, especially taking into consideration that they beat them at the Colliery.

“It is going to be a tough match. Hwange plays very well in Harare and after having beaten them at home; they are definitely on a revenge mission. It is going to be the most difficult game. I hope my boys will understand that and guard against complacency because we are still not safe from relegation and we need the three points,” he said.

Struggling Chicken Inn, who lost to ZPC Kariba last Saturday, have another daunting task when they tackle title-chasing Caps United at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Chicken Inn brought in Frank Bushire, Last Chibwiro and goalkeeper Pride Zendera and will be hoping to up their game with the return of veteran Mkhokheli Dube, who arrived back in the country last week from the United States, where he had gone on private business.
