It is the only PSL fixture that is lined up for the day as the other 14 league teams were in action yesterday.

Hwange lost 1-2 to their opponents in the reverse fixture at the National Sports Stadium at the end of June with Dominic Chungwa and Leonard Fiyado’s second-half goals cancelling out a Gilbert Zulu’s first-half effort.

It was Hwange’s second loss on their three-match losing streak, a form which almost threatened what had been a brilliant season so far.

Their form has improved since then with five points from a possible nine in their last three matches to move back into the top eight.

The home side will be without Phakamani Dube due to suspension after he picked a third yellow card of the season last Saturday in the 0-0 draw against ZPC Kariba at Gwanzura Stadium.

But they are coming against a side who have been in the ascendancy in recent weeks. Baring the blip against Dynamos in their back-to-back encounter, Caps United have collected 16 points from a possible 21 to move right back into the title matrix.

The Green Machine welcome utility man Dominic Mukandi who sat out the team’s 1-0 win over Chicken Inn on Sunday. Chungwa should also return from an injury for this match, but there are injury concerns for Kelvin Bulaji who lasted just 28 minutes in the Sunday match before limping off, some minutes after he had scored for his side.

Centre-back David Chipala is still out injured, so Malawian George Nyirenda should retain his position at the heart of defence to partner Steven Makatuka.
