RUSTENBURG — South African Absa Premier Soccer League side Platinum Stars have received a boost ahead of their game against SuperSport United after little known Zimbabwean striker Patrick Kaunda received his work visa.

The Zimbabwean striker joined Stars during the off-season after finishing as the top scorer in the Botswana Premier League with 20 goals last season.

The former FC Satmos striker has penned a three-year contract with Dikwena. Club football manager Senzo Mazingisa confirmed that Kaunda was now available for selection.

“His papers have been sorted out and he is eligible to play,” Mazingisa said. — Kick Off
