Mutuma returned to Dynamos this season following an unsuccessful stint in the South African Absa Premier League.

His return had an immediate impact on the DeMbare front-line which had failed to find the back of the net with some semblance of regularity.

But the former’s temperament is proving to be his Achilles heel, with the Dynamos executive recently suspending him following a bust up with club captain Murape Murape.

Before the incident with his captain he had earlier traded blows with Black Rhinos’ Obey Gada in a Chibuku Super Cup first round match in which the Harare giants crashed out at the first hurdle at the hands of the army side.

On Saturday in Zvishavane he repeatedly demonstrated against referee Mlindeli Ndebele in the game the champions held FC Platinum to a goalless draw at Mandava Stadium.

He was also involved in needless tussles with the opponents and at some stage of the game he gestured towards the opponents’ bench while shouting in the process.

Ndebele who had consistently warned the striker finally booked him for pulling the jersey of former teammate Gift Bello in the second half.

After the Platinum stalemate, Pasuwa raised his concern over manners of his forward.

“I am very worried about that. Gesturing towards the referee is not right at all.

“That is why I substituted him. He was also sitting on a yellow card and I did not want to risk.

“I am still working on him and I will talk to him about the behaviour,” Pasuwa said.

Pasuwa’s men are now in a comfortable position to retain the title after they managed to pick a point away to FC Platinum.

The vital point earned at Mandava will no doubt boost their confidence levels following their fiercest rivals Highlanders 0-1 loss away to Harare City.
