Sniper Storm to perfom at Club Forty-40

The album carries 12 tracks and was officially launched at Private Lounge graced by guest of honour, the Information, Media and Broadcasting Services deputy minister Supa Mandiwandzira in April this year.

Sibanengi Ndebele, aka DJ Mzoe, who doubles up as an entertainment manager at Club Forty-40, confirmed the show yesterday.

“This show is not to be missed. We invite everyone to come to this unforgettable event. Sniper has been in the game for a long time and we promise only the best performance,” he said.

Sniper is expected to perform from 6pm till the wee hours of Saturday.

Local artistes, Centre Party, Sean Miller, Izikhothane and Bovas will get a chance to share the stage with Pee-Kay. DJs Ally Touch, Mzoe, Ericado, Lady Carol would warm up the decks ahead of the show.

The album has been sampled in Masvingo at Liquids Night Club and in Gweru at the Uptown Night Club.

The General, as he is also known in music circles, collaborated with award winning artiste Jah Prayzah on the track Gotsi Papata. Other tracks are Mbama Yemupurisa, Ndisimudzeiwo, Musikana Anetwundebvu and Silver Bullet The album recorded at D-Brigade includes instrumentation with the backing of a live band.

Speaking to Southern Eye Lifestyle Sniper confirmed that he will perform in Bulawayo on Friday.

“I am excited about coming to perform in Bulawayo. As always I will put up an exceptional show.

“I am hoping to have a great time. The new album Silver Bullet speaks about my music which is powerful ammunition,” he said.

Sniper started music in 2003.

He recorded a debut album Ndakabata Mic in 2005 followed by The Voice in 2009.

He released Ghetto Gospel in 2010 followed by Salute The General in 2011, Attention in 2012 and Dongfeng last year.
