The shows, dubbed King of Kings would be held on October 17 and 18 at Ngenasi N/C and Vanguard.

Ndebele, the Azibuye Emasisweni hit-maker, is billed to showcase his dance and dish his latest album to fans in Mberengwa.Ndolwane-super-sounds

He would be backed by his new-look band and is expected to delight revellers with fancy dance footwork along with Moyana. The shows will kick off at 8pm until late.

said Mberengwa fans had been clamouring for Ndebele and Moyana shows.

“Mberengwa fans have been asking for the king of rhumba to come and give them a taste of his hits,” he said.

“He will be joined back-to-back by Moyana who is popularly known for his hit track Munotidako.

“This time we combined Ndolwane Super Sounds with the Munotidako hit maker as we are trying to market our type of music because it consists of deep words of Ndebele and Shona.

“We are doing this so that people can understand the meaning of our music so that they won’t interpret it wrongly.”

Ndebele would play some tracks from his album Azibuye Emasisweni, which was recorded in Harare at Shed Studios.

The album features a number of interesting tracks that would bring back memories of the group during its heydays.

Ndebele sings in five languages — Ndebele, Tswana, Venda, Shona and Kalanga.

The title track Azibuye Emasisweni is a tribute to his late cousin and co-Ndolwane founder Absalom Ndebele.

On his part, Moyana has taken the music scene by storm with his controversial Shona lyrics which are literally “correct” but some fans attach vulgar connotations to them.

Mandizvidza said Ndolwane has scheduled shows for Binga, Hwange and Victoria Falls, among other places.
