FORMER Bulawayo Basketball League champions Giants face their first big challenge when they take on Highlanders in an encounter slated for Bulawayo Municipal Ground tomorrow.

Giants and Highlanders have a long standing rivalry as some of the Bosso players are former Giants players and would want to prove a point.
Top Bulawayo players Michael Zvoushe and Derrick Chiradza are former Giants players and would be complemented by fiery Stuart Woods, Tawanda Mudzudza and Jordan Davies.
In their first match Highlanders walked away with maximum points as Milton Elephants did not turn up for the encounter while Giants had not yet affiliated.
In another match that promises to bring out the best of basketball rivalry, women’s side Lakers B will face Highlanders.
The two sides have brought out the best of each other in every encounter that they have been in although Highlanders have always had an upper hand in the past.
Lakers A will face Angels in another women’s match.
