The Metallon Gold-sponsored side faced a rough patch which saw them in the relegation zone for a while, but they have since pulled up and are now on position 10, following their 2-1 win over Hwange, with 32 points.

“I do not know where we will finish at the end of the season, but whatever the case we want to finish in a more respectable position. Even if the PSL has to relegate five or six teams we want to be very safe,” he said.

“We are in the right direction at the moment. We are rebuilding a team for next year and I will be using remaining crucial matches to come up with a formidable team for next season. When I said I was building a team for next season some people thought it was a joke. I am happy with the team and the set-up that we have at the moment and if we continue like this there is no way we should worry about relegation,” the former Shabanie Mine gaffer said.
