NQOBIZITHA Masuku (pictured) has to wait a while before joining Zimbabwe’s representatives at the Orange CAF Confederations’ Cup, FC Platinum, since the Zvishavane-based side and Bantu Rovers are still to reach an agreement.

Masuku is the Bantu Rovers captain and has been linked with a move to FC Platinum although details of the deal have been a closely guarded secret by both teams.
Sources said FC Platinum head coach Norman Mapeza, who has been attending a Caf A Licence coaching course which ended in Harare on Sunday, had indicated he wanted to have a look at the player himself.
On Sunday Masuku trained with Bantu Rovers with club general manager Wilbert Sibanda saying negotiations were still underway.
“We are still in negotiations with FC Platinum. He trained with us yesterday (Sunday) and the deal is still to be finalised,” Sibanda said.
The young midfielder, a member of the Under-23 Young Warriors, has been on the radar of Bulawayo giants Highlanders who are said to have failed to reach an agreement with Tshintsha Guluva.

FC Platinum media liaison officer Chido Chizondo said yesterday: “Nothing has been finalised yet.
We are still to finalise negotiations with Bantu Rovers. He went through the assessment and we are now waiting to complete the negotiations.”
FC Platinum will leave for Kenya on Friday for an Orange Caf Confederation Cup match against Sofapaka FC.
