Five teams from Imbizo, Khami, Mzilikazi, Reigate and Bulawayo Central will converge when the province selects a provincial team that will travel to Bindura for the Nestlé Athletics and Physical Education tournament on March 24 and 27.
The Naph head in-charge for Bulawayo Metropolitan Province, Njabulo Bango, said it would be a great opportunity for schools to use the White City Stadium.
“We have secured the stadium and the equipment that was used during the African Union Sports Council Region 5 Under-20 Youth Games. We would be having a technical meeting on Wednesday at White City to discuss the events and make final arrangements for the big day,” Bango said.
Bango indicated that there would be physical education, long distance and field events on Thursday while on Friday there would be sprints and relays.
Meanwhile, Matabeleland North, South, Harare, Manicaland, Mashonaland West, East and Central would also be having their interdistricts competitions on the same dates.
Matabeleland North will hold their competitions at Loziba in Bubi while Matabeleland South will use Pelandaba Stadium in Gwanda.
