THE MDC-T yesterday launched an acerbic attack on Zanu PF’s Psychology Maziwisa, describing him as a misguided missile singing for his supper after he defended President Robert Mugabe’s daughter, Bona, for representing Zimbabwe at a State visit to Japan.

Maziwisa said MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai was clueless about goings-on in the global political sphere after the opposition criticised Bona’s presence, where she appeared to be part of Mugabe’s delegation holding discussions with Tokyo officials.

The MDC-T accused Mugabe of trying to impose Bona on Zimbabweans, in much the same way his wife, Grace took reigns of the Zanu PF women’s league.

However, Maziwisa argued that there was no law, domestic or international, that prevented a head of State from travelling with his or her daughter on State visits, hence “we don’t expect Tsvangirai to know this from personal experience, because he has never been a head of State himself and is unlikely ever to become one in his lifetime”.

MDC T spokesperson Obert Gutu said Maziwisa was an attention-seeking political turncoat and a dubious person with a suspicious lifestyle, who should not be listened to.

“It is absolutely shocking and uncivilised for someone with such a dubious character and controversial personal lifestyle to denigrate the former prime minister of the Republic of Zimbabwe in such a crass and uncouth manner,”

“It is absolutely shocking and uncivilised for someone with such a dubious character and controversial personal lifestyle to denigrate the former prime minister of the Republic of Zimbabwe in such a crass and uncouth manner,” Gutu said.

“This Maziwisa boy desperately needs expert psychiatric attention to help him cope with the hazards that come with leading a rather controversial lifestyle. Maziwisa has definitely taken leave of his senses. He needs every concerned Zimbabwean’s prayers to help him get rehabilitated back into mainstream and conventional society.”

In the unrestrained attack, Gutu described Maziwisa as a moral pervert, who had nothing to offer the country.

“In a typical Mugabe hero-worshipping fashion, Maziwisa, a moral pervert himself, had nothing substantial to tell the nation to prove his point except to attack Morgan Tsvangirai’s personality with his foul and unmeasured diatribe,” Gutu ranted.

“While it is common knowledge that the junior Zanu PF employee, working in the regime’s information department, is merely singing for his supper, he should be mindful that it is not in his best interest to throw stones when he knows that he, himself, is fully ensconced in a very transparent glass house.”

Gutu, said had it not been for the MDC-T’s principles, he would have gone on to unmask “Maziwisa’s rather unusual and controversial personal lifestyle”.

Ironically, Gutu started his message saying Maziwisa was an unknown and Zimbabweans wouldn’t know the Zanu PF employee from a bar of soap, yet he went on to launch the vicious attack.
