The event will be held under the theme: International Synergies, Local Competiveness and Global Relevance — the Key to Address Zimbabwe’s Liquidity and Industrial Revolution.

ZNCC regional manager Mduduzi Ncube said the purpose of the awards was to honour and recognise noteworthy business performance for 2014.

“As much as business is performing generally slowly, there are quite a number of companies which have managed to remain afloat and as a chamber we believe this business practice needs to be recognised and celebrated,” Ncube said.

He said the awards were aimed at fostering a competitive culture within industry, one founded on good workmanship, with prospects of ultimately translating to improved product and service delivery, thereby heightening the spirit of excellence in good business practice.

“As a country, we strive perennially to grow from strength to strength with regards aggregate economic outlook.

One sure way of attaining this endeavour is through amalgamating as often as we possibly can, pursuit of business ideas that will culminate in the crafting of lasting solutions to our ubiquitous economic woes,” he said.
