THE first half of the Southern Region Soccer League season comes to an end tomorrow with Bulawayo City and Bulawayo Chiefs still tied with each side having accumulated 30 points.

Each has won nine matches, drew three and lost two from 14 games and City leads the pack with a four-goal superior difference over Chiefs.

Round 15 of the league sees the Philani “Beefy” Ncube-coached Bulawayo City take on struggling Old Nic Mine away at the mine tomorrow, while Chiefs will also be away to fifth-placed Ntabazinduna Prison.

Chiefs’ coach Thulani Sibanda and his boys have a tougher encounter against the prison officers, who are coached by legend Agent Sawu.

Last week, City beat Ntabazinduna 3-0, while Chiefs beat Old Nic Mine 2-0.

ZPC Hwange, now four points behind the two with 26, host town neighbours Makomo in Hwange, while former Premier Soccer League side Bantu Rovers with 24 points are home to Technosphere at White City Stadium.
