BY SHARON SIBINDI The event is set to bring in diversity and appreciation of the arts in Bulawayo, while providing a platform for networking with Bulawayo’s corporate world.

The Bulawayo Club’s marketing manager, Fiona Ndlovu, said people should come and embrace an African atmosphere, enjoy African food and entertainment as part of this year’s Intwasa Arts Festival.

Ndlovu said guests would be dressed in traditional and African attire, while enjoying traditional dishes.

“Traditional foods such as tripe will be served. There will be entertainment from cultural groups and people will get a chance to mix and mingle and share ideas during the event,” she said.

Ndlovu said they had started selling tickets to companies and individuals. The Bulawayo Club, which is celebrating its 120th anniversary, has opened its doors to the public.

Ndlovu urged people to come in their numbers, adding that their partnership with Intwasa allowed both organisations to share the history and culture of Bulawayo and what it had to offer within the arts, culture and hospitality industry.
