HUNNAR Management Agency will be hosting a fashion show at AMTEC Garage as part of the Intwasa Arts Festival on September 26.

The Intwasa Fashion Show is a celebration of Bulawayo’s fashion industry through providing a platform where designers showcase their collections.
This year’s show will feature 10 local designers who will showcase 10 looks each from their 2015 collections.
Event producer Gilmore Moyo said the show came after many years of Intwasa Arts Festival koBulawayo having limited participation in the fashion sector.
Ten top fashion designers will be showcasing at the show, with Edgars Stores selecting three for the Edgars Young Designers Development Programme.
Moyo said from last year’s event, six young designers benefited after they were attached to Edgars Stores to gain commercial experience with the leading fashion house.
Ara Kani, Zah Designs, Nolie B Designs, Ganu Creations, Penelope Creationz and Shadow By Sidumiso showcased at last year’s edition.

Only 20 models were selected out of the 156 that were gunning to participate in the show and will walk the runway alongside top models such as Saahirah Ismael, Fungai Mawada and Tholakele Dlamini.
Moyo said Edgars Stores, one of their partners, would be looking at getting some of the designers on attachment with them and further equip them for the real world.
