Gamariel Caution (55), of Archford Flat at Westgate in Bulawayo, was not asked to plead to the charge of indecent assault when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Merlyn Mutshina on Monday.

The magistrate remanded him out of custody to today for trial.

The court heard that on September 19, the complainant, who cannot be named, reported for duty in the evening and as she was entering her details in the company’s occurrence book, Caution hugged her from behind with his head leaning on her shoulder.

This did not go down well with the woman, who immediately reported the matter to the police, leading to Caution’s arrest.
