Dynamos are set to appoint a new coach today following a decision to restructure the technical setup triggered by a string of poor results under the guidance of Lloyd Chigowe.
DeMbare have sunk deep into the relegation zone, having managed to score just two goals from 11 matches, mustering eight points, one more than basement side Kwekwe United the same as Triangle.
After days of speculation, the club released a statement on Tuesday announcing plans to restructure the technical team.
This simply means the entire technical team, which included assistant coach Mark Mathe, was relieved of its duties.
It is expected that Saul Chaminuka, who was shown the exit door by Kwekwe United, will assume the hot seat at DeMbare.
But that surely will not be the end of the team’s problems.
Supporters, fed up by what they believe is maladministration, are mobilising to boycott the team’s matches until the current administration led by Moses Maunganidze is booted out.
The supporters, discussing in their social media group, allege that the team’s problems stem from an administration devoid of ideas except hiring and firing coaches.

We agree with the section of supporters who feel that the problems at the club cannot be solved by hiring and firing coaches.
There are fundamental issues that the club needs to deal with, particularly why it keeps losing its best players.
Despite the emergence of rich clubs, DeMbare should still be an attractive destination for top players.
Why, with so many supporters, is Dynamos failing to attract sponsorship?
The club is relying on the benevolence of businessman Kuda Tagwirei. Sometimes it’s not clear whether or when he is going to provide the money.
Dynamos should be attracting corporate sponsorship but chaos seems to be stalking the club.
According to some of the fans, the problem lies with club owner Bernard Lusengo, who, despite having an executive in place, has too much influence on the club’s day-to-day activities.
That his takeover of the club is shrouded in controversy could be the reason why chaos continues to stalk the club.
His appetite for firing coaches has been one of the team’s major problem. Under his watch, Herbert Maruwa, who was doing reasonably well with the club, was removed in 2022. His successor, Genesis Mangombe, did not last long either.
DeMbare needs to get rid of this trigger-happy attitude, lest they will find themselves in the Northern Region Division One league.
