HARARE, May.13, (NewsDayLive) --The Chinese embassy in Zimbabwe has launched azn essay competition to celebrate 45 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Participants are expected to give detailed analysis of the past, present and future of the Sino-Zimbabwe bilateral relationship.
They are also expected to share personal experiences and aspirations related to the bilateral cooperation.
Themed "45 Years On: My Views on China-Zimbabwe Friendship", the competition will run until July 6, 2025, and is open to all citizens across all age groups with the winners set to receive cash prizes worth
between US$100 and US$500,while outstanding essays will be published in the mainstream media in both China and Zimbabwe, as well as on the Chinese embassy online platforms.
“This year, 2025, is a super special year as it marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Zimbabwe," the organisers said in a statement.
