
MS Samantha Banda, a prominent entrepreneur known for her dynamic presence in the events management sector through her company, Crown Events, has now firmly established herself as a formidable force in the real estate industry.
Over the weekend, she was honoUred with two prestigious awards that underscore her remarkable achievements and versatility as a business leader.
On Friday, Ms Banda received the Entrepreneur Network of Zimbabwe Women's "Outstanding Achievement Award in Real Estate" at the Zimbabwe International Conference and Exhibition Smart City (ZICES) held in Bulawayo. The following day, she was celebrated once again at the Zimbabwe Women in Real Estate and Construction Awards in Harare, where she won the "Most Outstanding Brand in Property Management Leadership."
These accolades highlight her significant contributions to a field where female representation in leadership roles remains limited.
"I'm overly excited and grateful for these awards as they show my versatility as a brand," Ms Banda expressed.
"They are my first in the real estate business. A lot of people know me from the events management space, but as a person who is not content with just being a one-trick pony, I branch into other facets of entrepreneurship as well."
Since venturing into real estate in 2022, Ms Banda has expanded her portfolio from managing two bed and breakfasts (BnBs) to five, showcasing her entrepreneurial acumen and commitment to addressing accommodation issues in the region.
Her journey is not only a testament to her determination but also an inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs, demonstrating the rewards of taking calculated risks and pursuing one's passions.
