Norman Dube (52) was not asked to plead to indecent assault charge when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Takundwa Witness Mtetwa on Friday.

The magistrate remanded him in custody to June 19 for trial.

The court heard that on June 3 this year at 5pm, the complainant was standing at 6th Avenue, Bulawayo, waiting to board a commuter omnibus.

She was approached by Dube who started talking to her, but she ignored him.

Dube then fondled her breasts and touched her all over the body.

She tried to push him away, but Dube resisted. The complainant then boarded a commuter omnibus and Dube followed and sat next to her.

Dube allegedly put his hand inside her trousers. The victim ordered the driver to stop at Mzilikazi police station where Dube was reported and then arrested.
