ONE of Zimbabwe’s leading urban grooves musician Desmond Chideme, popularly known as Stunner, is set to perform in the city on Saturday night at the newly opened Club Vegas 999.

The night spot’s manager Andrew Nzombe confirmed the show.

“I am inviting everyone who is a fan of local music. Stunner will be supported by his fellow Tazoita Cash Records artistes Shastro and Flame,” Nzombe said.

Stunner, who is riding high with his latest offerings Head boy (5-0) and Chibhodhoro which has a brilliant video, has promised his Bulawayo fans fireworks.

“I promise my fans great energy and also new stuff that includes Chibhodhoro and I bet when we perform it everyone will hold their drinks up.

“I also wish to see other artistes form Bulawayo performing on the night as a way of promoting local music in the country,” added Stunner.

Stunner scooped the best male hip-hop artiste, Best hip-hop video for the song Godo at the Zimbabwe hip-hop awards 2012The award-winning artist also known as the

King of Swag, made a mark with his hit songs such as Hameno, Team hombe, Godo and others.

Club Vegas 999, formerly Club Mirage, reopened this month under new management.

The night spot has also seen a lot of renovations done in an effort to please revellers.

The new owners of Club Vegas 999 have lined up many shows, including the Simon Chimbetu commemorations.
