The group left the country three weeks ago and is expected back home before the end of the year.

Over the last three weeks, the group has been performing at various venues dotted around Edinburgh. Siyaya Arts is currently show-casing one of their latest productions titled Thatha (Take) and their creative output has managed to keep their foreign audiences captivated.

According to posts on Siyaya Arts’ Facebook page, the group is said to have entertained a huge audience yesterday night at Edinburgh. A Scottish resident, Clarie Farren, posted: “Thatha in Edinburgh! I loved it! You have so much energy! Awesome performance! Well done.” Scores of others hailed Siyaya Arts for the scintillating performances.

Siyaya Arts is known for its exhilarating music with the clicks and whoops of traditional dialect and tightly choreographed dance which easily transcends language barriers.

The group has its roots in Makokoba suburb, Bulawayo. It has managed to maintain its name with one of its finest productions, Zambezi Express.
