Mahlangu, a God-fearing man known for producing award-winning gospel tunes, comes in as a guest artiste during the Harvest House International Church annual Prophetic Conference to be held at Zimbabwe International Trade Fair hall Number 4.

Busisani Sangweni Ncube, an official with Harvest House International, yesterday confirmed the show to Southern Eye. “Solly is back in Zimbabwe by public demand and a lot is expected from this show. He will give people value for their money,” he said.

“We encourage other artistes to come and register so that they are also able to perform on the day. This will help them grow as artistes and that also includes aspiring musicians,” Ncube said.

The South African will be supported by Wozana, Worship Addicts, Maureen Jeche and Harare-based gospel group ZimPraise, who have won many fans across the country with their songs.

This year’s Harvest International Church conference, which is running under the theme “Year of Jubilee”, will see local preachers taking morning, afternoon and evening sessions.

Bishop Tudor Bismark, Apostle Mosa Solo and Reverend Elias Ndeda are some of the preachers who will be ministering at the conference. In 2008, Mahlangu released the Obrigado album that became a hit and made him a household name.

Last year Mahlangu scooped four awards in South Africa and the United Kingdom. He also received the best male gospel artiste award in Africa.
