Sandy, as she is affectionately known by her legion of fans, is expected to leave the country next month with her group ahead of the Dubai tour. Last month she was in Russia, a few weeks after she produced a collaborative music video with South Africa’s popular group Platform One.

In an interview with Southern Eye, Sandy said she would perform at the Dubai Shopping Festival scheduled for November. Currently she is working on the modalities for the tour, she said.

“As a group, we are preparing for our tour and this year we will be performing at a shopping festival. We are looking forward to market our Zimbabwean culture in Asia.

Currently we are working on all the requirements for our tour,” she said.

Last month Sandy toured Russia where she performed for a full month. She is known for her silky moves that are accompanied with fancy footwork that are marvel to watch.

Over the past decade she has become a force to reckon with in and outside the country as she has managed to keep audiences entertained through her music that cuts across all age groups and language barriers.

Sandy’s career dates back to 2000. Since then she has never looked back and she continues to shine. She is getting better with age.
