KWEKWE High School will host the 20 boys and girls’ schools for the National Association of Secondary Heads Basketball Top Schools tournament.

KWEKWE High School will be a hive of activity tomorrow as 20 boys and girls’ schools converge in the Midlands town for the National Association of Secondary Heads Basketball Top Schools tournament.

All teams are expected to be at Kwekwe High today for the technical meeting where the draw is going to be conducted.

Competition director Simon Lawson yesterday told Southern Eye Sport all was set for this year’s competition.

Prince Edward were the winners of the boys’ section last year while Girls’ High won the girls’ category last year in the competition hosted by Peterhouse in Marondera.

Schools expected to take part in the competition include the hosts, Prince Edward, Loreto, Regina Mundi, Churchill, Mufakose 2, Goromonzi and Cornway College.

Chipadze, Dangamvura and Hillcrest College are also set to take part in the competition together with Nkulumane, Gifford, Mosi-oa-Tunya, St James, Jason Ziyaphapha Moyo, Minda and Serima.

The semi-final and finals will be played on Sunday morning while the teams are expected to travel to their respective schools soon after.
