Dube became the country’s youngest entrepreneur from the southern region among top three finalists for the business award.
JCI CYEA is a unique national award which was designed specifically to recognise outstanding young entrepreneurs in the country.
The award recognises, honours and celebrates exceptional young entrepreneurs and the role of creativity in their success in various business areas.
But the award has in the past been a preserve for entrepreneurs from the northern side of the country much to the displeasure of entrepreneurs from the region currently suffering deindustrialisation.
Dube doubles as vice-president of Amavulindlela Empowerment Corporation and director of Amavulindlela Ultimate Records.
After scooping the award at a ceremony held in Harare over the weekend, the elated young entrepreneur wrote on his Facebook wall: “My dear friends, I am glad to inform you that the Junior Chamber International Zimbabwe has awarded me the second runner-up Creative Young Entrepreneur of the year.
