However, the Amai Nga hitmaker did not disappoint as he put up a spirited performance that left many clamouring for more.

The fans that braved the rainy weather were kept on their feet as Kapfupi belted out popular tunes such as Chikwama, Nhoroondo, Musoja and Juice Card, among others.

Kapfupi said he was not perturbed by the small crowd adding that the few who attended deserved to be given quality entertainment.

“As much as an artiste would like to fill the venue with a huge crowd, numbers don’t always count,” he said.

“Those few that attend do so from the bottom of their heart and as such they deserve to get quality entertainment.”

Friday night was characterised by rains, which could have kept revellers at home.

Utakataka Express bassist, Mudindo and his Orchestra Vazvamburi also did not disappoint as they entertained fans with songs such as Murombo Munhu and Bhora Pasi, among others.
