BEITBRIDGE businessman and upcoming musician Kenny Masiwa, aka Ghetto Preacher, has released his debut album titled Tarisiro.

BEITBRIDGE businessman and upcoming musician Kenny Masiwa, aka Ghetto Preacher, has released his debut album titled Tarisiro. The eight-track album was composed at WB studios at the border town.

Ghetto Preacher (39) told Southern Eye: “I am happy that I have completed the album which took me time, and I hope people will love it.”

He added that as an artiste based in Beitbridge, he made a decision to preach to the youths from his ghetto.

“The album Tarisiro, which means ‘I have a vision for the future’ is about life in general, tackling issues in life and also sad moments and hardships that come with life, but as youths we should push forward,” Ghetto Preacher added.

The album features tracks such as Ndichasvika and Chimbomira.

He worked with Dj Pukka on the debut album, adding that Tarisiro contains motivational songs targeted at youths.

Ghetto Preacher did high school educational at Chaplin High School, Gweru, and in 1998 he proceeded to Beitbridge where he started work as a vendor, but now he has a big brand Kenny Konnektion.
