UNITED Kingdom-based award-winning rapper Tichaona Monera, popularly known as Rymme Assassin, is set for a remarkable welcome back gig this coming Thursday at The Lounge. OWN CORRESPONDENT
The hip-hop artistes told Southern Eye Lifestyle from his UK base.
“This will be a party to mark my coming back into the country and it will pave the way for my album launch which will see a launch in Bulawayo and Harare respectively in December,” Rymme Assassin said.
“It has taken me a year working on this album and I was supposed to launch it earlier this year, but I felt that it should be well packaged.
“The 26-track double CD album will feature songs in English, Ndebele and Shona, as a way to reach to a wider audience,” added Rymme Assassin.
The rapper promised fireworks on the night.
“I am excited that I am coming back home and I promise a good show on the night,” Rymme Assassin added .
He will be supported by local artists Nicholas Muchingura affectionately known as P.O.Y, T9yce, Pryd PMDee, Young Stan, Kasi Lunatics, Beezy Raps, Klap and many more artists.

The upcoming album includes songs such as Black hope, Good Child, Treat Me Like A Lady which is doing well on the UK airwaves.
“Unity is a song which appeals for unity among Zimbabweans from all ethnic backgrounds, especially the three groups Ndebele, Shona and the English, and the song is composed in three languages,” added Rymme Assassin.
“Another song is Zimbabwe, it is a tribute to my beloved country, it is like a prayer for the country to be restored to its former glory. I was born and raised in Zimbabwe and living for the UK has given me a longing for my Zimbabwe that is what inspired this song,” Rymme Assassin said.
The musician has featured with renowned artistes such as Good Child, Prometeus, Vanessa and Trevor Dongo, among others on some of the songs.
Besides music in the UK, the hip-hop artiste works as the operations manager at Eschol Brooke Security Options.
