Sheenah Moyo, a designer and an official at Hunnar management agency told Southern Eye Lifestyle that they were going with six designers from the city to Hwange.

“We are going with our top designers to Hwange. It is going to be an eventful week as the Hwange show will be a day after the Love Meets Fashion show which has been scheduled for Valentine’s Day in Victoria Falls,” she said.

“The show will be an opportunity to market local designers to the Hwange community and also to the tourists on the day. People will get to know local fashion designers, their work and also get to know the new place Eldorado Rock Park.”

Moyo promised fashion lovers a glamorous Valentine’s fashion show.

“We promise fashion lovers a show to remember and that they will be impressed by the great works of our local designers,” she said.

“The designers that will showcase in Hwange include 27-year-old Sidumiso Tshuma of Shadow by Sdue — whose brand caters for the urban cultured, trendy and stylish.

“His biggest highlight of his career was when he dressed South African songbird Zahara.”

In addition to Sdumiso Tshuma, there will be Clix Clothing by Cleedon Lotriet, Tripple L by 28-year-old Lorraine Ndlove, Litso by 25-year-old Annie Enelesi Maliki, Rebelious Klothing by 22-year-old Nkululeko Ncube and Blinq Xclusive Jewellery by Sheenah Moyo.
