Vic Falls man in trouble for sex with minor

A 22-YEAR-OLD Victoria Falls man was yesterday taken to court facing charges of having sexual intercourse with a minor, but resident magistrate Sharon Rosemani ordered that the charge be altered to rape.

Clifford Chuma of Mkhosana high-density suburb was remanded out of custody to April 30.

For the State, Listen Nare said in May 2013, Chuma proposed love to a 13-year-old primary schoolgirl and she accepted.

He allegedly invited the girl to his house and took her to his bedroom. Chuma allegedly started fondling the minor’s breasts before asking to be intimate with her and she agreed.

The girl allegedly started complaining of pain, but Chuma told her to be patient saying he would not hurt her.

However, the girl screamed in pain and neighbours rushed and forced their way into Chuma’s bedroom and apprehended him in the act.

The girl was taken to hospital for medical examination and the report proved there was penetration leading to Chuma’s arrest.

  1. Unqantsha kubi londoda, kambe wona amawule egcwele kangaka phandle lapha asukele u school girl we primary hayi kapike ejele……..

  2. I have noted that people have started to like sex at tender ages. The “man” you may notice, is a big boy in the least. Yes he should be punished but circumstances surrounding his case should be biological rather than political and cruel.

  3. This is a man period! By now (22) he has finished high school and should be either working or in college but he is busy chasing after PRIMARY school kids. He is a vulture nothing else, the full force of the law should descend on this man!
