It would be Killer T’s debut show in Bulawayo. The rising dancehall musician who hails from Harare’s Mbare township, has a date with revellers at Club Forty-40.

He emerged a winner at the Zimbabwe Dancehall Awards recently after being voted the Best Upcoming Artiste.

Speaking to the Southern Eye Lifestyle, Club Forty-40 entertainment manager Sibanengi Ndebele, aka Dj Mzoe, said they decided to bring something new for the people, pointing out that the joint has been bringing disc jockeys to Bulawayo instead of musicians.

“We have decided to bring in something new this time of the year as we used to bring DJs to come and spin the decks in Bulawayo and we hope the fans will like it. This would be a two-in-one show. One show will be held in the afternoon catering for the family while the other will be an adult affair at night.

“Most of the times, we have our shows at night and they would be catered only for adults, but this time we have decided to make it a family day where everyone can come during the day and spend some quality time with the family.”

Local artiste Centre Party would be a supporting act, he added. Killer T’s management confirmed the artiste has a date at Club Forty-40 on Saturday.

“Killer T will be coming to perform in Bulawayo and he will bring special music from the United Kingdom for the fans in Bulawayo. We will also bring in CDs which will be sold at $1 and T-shirts that will be going for $7,” he said.
