Dj-StavoDJ Stavo, real name Steve Sanders, last Thursday released the video to his recent track Teka Famba featuring South African star Fiesta Black of the Xigubu fame. The video sees the disc jockey on the decks and Fiesta Black doing what she knows best with the vocals and three dancers dancing to the rhythm.

With a great green room scene and lighting DJ Stavo explained the video which was shot in Johannesburg.

“I came up with this concept because Fiesta Black has done a video with a traditional theme and wanted to do a more modern look as it goes in hand with what the song is about,” he said. “The song is basically about a girl who has a check list and goes through that list looking for the right kind of man, so once she finds him she take him away with her Teka Famba meaning take away in Tsonga,” DJ Stavo said.

DJ Stavo said he hoped to see this video going places more than his previous one.

“With each new video I do I try and better the previous one, but I am really happy with the video and learning never steps. I hope the video will be well received by my fans and hope to gain new ones.”

DJ Stavo has done a lot of regional collaborations with South Africans like Shota, Mandoza and Lolo and in Botswana with Zeus and Cibil Nyte.
