Tineyi Sindiso Siziba is being charged for contravening Section 131,126 and 65 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act Chapter 09:23)

It was the State’s case that on March 6 at around 4am, Siziba gained unlawful entry into Mambo general dealer by vandalising the door.

Siziba, armed with an okapi knife, ordered the shopkeeper to give him $900.

She told him that the money was in her EcoCash account and gave the accused $30 which was on the table.

The accused continued demanding money until the shopkeeper instructed another woman present during the robbery to fetch the money.

The accused then dragged Moyo outside the shop and allegedly raped her once.

Afterwards Siziba ordered the shopkeeper to return to the shop and fled the scene.

The matter was reported to the police, leading to Siziba’s arrest.
