PRESTIGE GAMA OWN CORRESPONDENT Keith Ndebele aka DJ Keitho has believes he has finally made a breakthrough in the music industry after joining forces with South Africa’s DJ Leon.

“I am so excited about the track,” Dj Keitho told Woza Weekend.

“Although I have made so many wonders in the past I count this as one of my greatest achievements.

“It has not been an easy road for me but I have managed to go as far as I never imagined.”

DJ Keitho said he ventured into the music industry in 2007 after realising his talent.

“I always had a passion for music since I was a small boy and got inspiration from many musicians locally and internationally,” he said.

“During my early days in the industry, I was incorporated into the Bulawayo Knights’ Crew who then gave me the confidence to push as far as I could.”

DJ Keitho says he has shared the stage with some of South African house music icons and this gave him a lot of inspiration.

“I had a couple of major encounters with well-known and successful DJs like Lvovo, Big Nuz, and Ganyani” he said. “These encounters happened in 2010 and 2013 respectively.

“I also had special experiences at the Intwasa Festival where we battled with other Bulawayo Djs and I took the first position.”

He released his first single in 2012 titled ‘My Roots’ and went on to do a number of collaborations with Bulawayo artists such as Khuxman among others.

“I also worked with South African group called Mutual Friends which includes DJ Nomathemba and Leon and we released a track called ‘Kekeke’ which was a hit in Zimbabwe for quite some time,” he said.

“My aim is to get my fans to love my music as I strive to give them the best and this festive season we will be rocking it big in the City of Kings.”
