TITLE-CHASING Premier Soccer league debutants ZPC Kariba bounced back to winning ways following a comfortable 3-1 win against army side Buffaloes at Gwanzura Stadium yesterday.

Goals by veteran forward Limited Chikafa, Norest Mkwezvaramba and Moses Makanje ensured the power utility side kept alive the title chase in the wake of a disappointing loss to FC Platinum in Zvishavane last Saturday.

Substitute Lloyd Katongomara grabbed the consolation goal for Buffaloes late in the match. ZPC Kariba coach Saul Chaminuka was happy with the result.

“I am happy that we won the match,” he said.

“It was not an easy game, but the win takes a little bit of pressure off us. What is left for us is to win one more game, hopefully against Harare City and then we will be assured of a top four finish which is our target.”

Chaminuka played down his team’s title hopes despite being the only team with a realistic chance to topple Dynamos, with only three matches before the premiership concludes.
