Samanja’s deal at Caps expires on December 31 and the lure of playing in Africa with Platinum, who will be taking part in the Caf Confederation Cup is getting to his head, although he is yet to make a decision on his future.

He has, though, made it clear that he is not returning to Caps next season and Dynamos are waiting in the wings to swoop on him, although there is no Champions League for the champions next season.

The platinum miners have expressed interest in the utility player and are reported to be close on bringing him to Zvishavane, at least by December 30 the deadline for the registration of players for the Confederation Cup.

Dynamos secretary-general Webster Chikengezha said they would conduct business after they have received proposed targets from the new technical department led by coach David Mandigora, though he is aware of the contract situation of Samanja.

“Our new technical department will give us the list of players they want and we will chase those players, the coaches will give us the list of players they want us to bring to the club and we will go for those players.

“His (Samanja) contract is expiring at the end of this year and will be a free agent after that. But any moves will be sanctioned by the technical department.

“So far we have only signed Kelvin Bulaji (from Caps United),” Chikengezha added.
