The 2013 champions of the tournament face defending champions Matabeleland Busters in their next match on Saturday.
Busters cruised past Old Miltonians 43-7 at the same venue embarking on a mission to defend their title.
Aaron Sawa had a good game for Busters together with Branson Nisbet, Devon Van der Merwe, McDonald Garufu, Justin Mendelsohn and Shupi Musarurwa.
Old Miltonians will be looking forward to picking themselves up against Bulldogs in their next encounter.
Four clubs play in a round-robin format and the tournament will stretch to January 24 when two top teams will play in the final and the other two will be fighting for the third place.
