BULAWAYO’s Crazy Ghetto DJz will on May 23 bring in Freaky Barbie Dolls for the Winter Stripp Tizz show that will see four pole dancers gracing Metropolis Pub in Ascot. BY SHARON SIBINDI
Freaky Barbie Dolls is based in Harare.
Walter Ncube, aka DJ Sweeto, who doubles up as entertainment manager and resident DJ at Metropolis Pub, confirmed the show yesterday.
“It is going to be one of the best shows ever in Bulawayo as Freaky Barbie Dolls will be touring Metropolis Pub for the first time,” he said.
“They will be showing us what they do in Harare.
This time, we have decided to bring in a new flavour to the city as we used to host dance groups such as Girls La and Iyasa, but this time we want a different type of entertainment with various dances, so unique in the city.”
Freaky Barbie Dolls is expected to perform from 8pm until the wee hours of Sunday.
Local DJs such as Crazy Flava, Sweeto, Big C, Phibz, Stones and Peez would warm up the decks ahead of the Harare-based pole dancers.
