A PLUMTREE gardener has been fined US$200 for having sex with two she-goats, resulting in one of them dying from the abuse.
Njabulo Moyo (43) pleaded guilty before magistrate Joshua Nembaware yesterday.
If Moyo fails to pay the fine by November 1, he will spend a month in jail.
Prosecutor Voster Makuwerere told the court that on October 1, the complainant heard his goats bleating and dogs barking continuously. He went to investigate and found Moyo having sex with his she-goats. Moyo fled from the scene, leaving one she goat dead.
The owner of the goats teamed up with his neighbours to track Moyo before handing him over to police.
